Setup Guide

Follow these steps to connect Twitter Ads to your CData Connect Cloud account:

  1. Open the Connections page of the CData Connect Cloud dashboard.

  2. Click + Add Connection in the upper-right corner.

  3. Type Twitter Ads into the search field, then click the data source name.

  4. On the Basic Settings tab of the new connection, enter a connection name or keep the default name.

  5. Enter your OAuth Client Secret. This is the Client Secret from your OAuth application.

  6. To use this data source, you must supply a Callback URL when setting up your OAuth app. This is sometimes referred to as a ‘Redirect URL’. On CData Connect Cloud, this is marked as Use this when you configure your OAuth app on Twitter Ads.

  7. Enter your OAuth Client Id. This is the Application (client) Id from your OAuth application.

  8. (Optional) Enter your Account Id if you want to restrict your connection to a specific account.

  9. Click Sign in to connect securely through OAuth. This action opens the Twitter Ads sign-in page in a new tab.

  10. Log into your Twitter Ads account and provide the requested permissions (if applicable).

  11. At the top of the CData Connect Cloud Add Twitter Ads Connection page, click Save & Test.

    • If the connection test succeeds, a message indicates that your connection has been created.

    • If the connection test fails, ensure that you entered your login information correctly with no stray spaces or other characters. Then, try again.
