Navigation Menu


The navigation menu within the Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel add-in controls how you set up connections and fetch, refresh, and update data.

  • Click Connections to set up your source connection to import into your spreadsheet. Each source contains its own connection documentation. See Sources for more information about the sources we support.
  • Click Import to import the data from an existing connection.
  • Click Refresh to refresh the data in the workbook or to schedule regular updates for the workbook.
  • Click Update to push changes from your workbook to the originating data source (you must have write permissions to the data source).
  • Click Logs for detailed logs for your CData Connect Spreadsheets account. See Logs for more information.
  • Click Documentation for detailed instructions on using the Google Sheets add-on or Microsoft Excel add-in.
  • Click Help Center to receive community support.
