Follow these steps to connect PayPal to your CData Connect Cloud account:

Open the Connections page of the CData Connect Cloud dashboard.

Click + Add Connection in the upper-right corner.

Type PayPal into the search field, then click the data source name.

On the Basic Settings tab of the new connection, enter a connection name or keep the default name.

Select the Schema from the drop down list, then proceed to the relevant section and follow those instructions.
REST

Enter the OAuth Client Id assigned when you registered your PayPal account for OAuth.

Enter the OAuth Client Secret for your PayPal account.

Set the Use Sandbox field to True only if you are using a sandbox account. Otherwise, leave it as False.

At the top of the CData Connect Cloud Add PayPal Connection page, click Save & Test.

If the connection test succeeds, a message indicates that your connection has been created.

If the connection test fails, ensure that you entered your login information correctly with no stray spaces or other characters. Then, try again.

SOAP

Enter the PayPal username for authentication in the User field.

In the Password field, enter the user password.

Enter your Signature. To create a signature, in your PayPal business account navigate to Profile > My Setting Tools. In the API Access section click Update, and then Request API Credentials on the following page.

Set the Use Sandbox field to True only if you are using a sandbox account. Otherwise, leave it as False.

At the top of the CData Connect Cloud Add PayPal Connection page, click Save & Test.
