Setup Guide
Follow these steps to connect Salesforce Pardot to your CData Connect Cloud account:

Open the Connections page of the CData Connect Cloud dashboard.

Click + Add Connection in the upper-right corner.

Type Salesforce Pardot into the search field, then click the data source name.

On the Basic Settings tab of the new connection, enter a connection name or keep the default name.

On a separate browser tab, log into your Salesforce account. Open the Setup page, expand the Pardot section, and click Pardot Account Setup.

Copy the business unit Id for the business unit that you want to connect.

Return to CData Connect Cloud and enter the copied value into the Business Unit ID field.

Select the Authentication method, then proceed to the relevant section and follow those instructions.
Authentication Methods
OAuth

Select your schema version.

If you are using a demo account, set Is Demo Account to True. Otherwise, leave it false.

Click Sign in to connect securely through OAuth. This action opens the Salesforce Pardot sign-in page in a new tab.

Log into your Salesforce Pardot account and provide the requested permissions (if applicable).

At the top of the CData Connect Cloud Add Salesforce Pardot Connection page, click Save & Test.

If the connection test succeeds, a message indicates that your connection has been created. The Status on the Edit Connection page also changes to Authenticated.

If the connection test fails, ensure that you entered your login information correctly with no stray spaces or other characters. CData Connect Cloud displays error messages under the required fields with missing data. Some data sources require that you sign in directly to the source website. If you did not, an error message appears under the Sign in button. Correct the errors and try again.

OAuth Password

Enter the Salesforce Pardot username for authentication.

Enter the user password.

Enter a Security Token. This step is mandatory unless your IP has been added to ‘Trusted IP Addresses’ in Salesforce already.

Select your schema version.

If you are using a demo account, set Is Demo Account to True. Otherwise, leave it false.

At the top of the CData Connect Cloud Add Salesforce Pardot Connection page, click Save & Test.

OAuth JWT

Enter your OAuth JWT Certificate. This is multi-line and in PEM format.

Select the OAuth JWT Certification type.

Enter the OAuth JWT Issuer. This must include the client_id or connected app for the which the certificate is registered.

(Optional) Enter a OAuth JWT Cert Password if the certificate. This only needs to be done if the certificate is encrypted.

(Optional) If required, add an OAuth JWT Cert Subject.

(Optional) If necessary, enter a OAuth JWT Subject, formatted as an email.

Select your schema version.
