Azure Synapse
Follow these steps to connect Azure Synapse to your CData Connect Cloud account:

Open the Connections page of the CData Connect Cloud dashboard.

Click + Add Connection in the upper-right corner.

Type Azure Synapse into the search field, then click the data source name.

On the Basic Settings tab of the new connection, enter a connection name or keep the default name.

Enter the following information:

Database—the name of the Azure Synapse database

Encrypt—set this to True to enable SSL or False to not enable it

Server—the host name or IP address of the Azure Synapse server

Port—the port for connecting to the Azure Synapse server

Select your desired authentication scheme in the Auth Scheme drop-down menu and follow the steps for your scheme:

Password—enter values in the User and Password fields.

AzureAD—click Sign In and sign in to your AzureAD account.

At the top of the CData Connect Cloud Add Azure Synapse Connection page, click Save & Test.

If the connection test succeeds, a message indicates that your connection has been created.

If the connection test fails, ensure that you entered your login information correctly with no stray spaces or other characters. Then, try again.
