Setup Guide
Follow these steps to connect SharePoint to your CData Connect Cloud account:

Open the Connections page of the CData Connect Cloud dashboard.

Click + Add Connection in the upper-right corner.

Type SharePoint into the search field, then click the data source name.

On the Basic Settings tab of the new connection, enter a connection name or keep the default name.

Enter the base URL for the SharePoint site (for example,
https://teams.contoso.com
). -
Select the Share Point Edition from the drop down.

Select the Authentication method, then proceed to the relevant section and follow those instructions.
AzureAD

Choose REST or SOAP from the Schema drop-down list.

Click Sign in to connect securely through OAuth. This action opens the SharePoint sign-in page in a new tab.

Log into your SharePoint account and provide the requested permissions (if applicable).

At the top of the CData Connect Cloud Add SharePoint Connection page, click Save & Test.

If the connection test succeeds, a message indicates that your connection has been created. The Status on the Edit Connection page also changes to Authenticated.

If the connection test fails, ensure that you entered your login information correctly with no stray spaces or other characters. CData Connect Cloud displays error messages under the required fields with missing data. Some data sources require that you sign in directly to the source website. If you did not, an error message appears under the Sign in button. Correct the errors and try again.

AzurePassword

Enter your User Id.

Add the Password for that account.

Enter the Azure Tenant Id found on the Overview page of the OAuth app used to authenticate to Microsoft SharePoint on Azure.

Choose REST or SOAP from the Schema drop-down list.

At the top of the CData Connect Cloud Add SharePoint Connection page, click Save & Test.

If the connection test succeeds, a message indicates that your connection has been created. The Status on the Edit Connection page also changes to Authenticated.

Authentication Methods
OAuth JWT

Enter the Azure Tenant Id found on the Overview page of the OAuth app used to authenticate to Microsoft SharePoint on Azure.

Enter your OAuth JWT Certificate. This is multi-line and in PEM format.

Select the OAuth JWT Cert type.

Enter the OAuth JWT Issuer. This should be set to the OAuth client Id.

Choose REST or SOAP from the Schema drop-down list.

At the top of the CData Connect Cloud Add SharePoint Connection page, click Save & Test.

If the connection test succeeds, a message indicates that your connection has been created. The Status on the Edit Connection page also changes to Authenticated.

Enter the PingFederate User Id.

Add the Password for that account.

Enter the SSO Domain to connect to.
