Follow these steps to connect Google Search to your CData Connect Cloud account:

Open the Connections page of the CData Connect Cloud dashboard.

Click + Add Connection in the upper-right corner.

Type Google Search into the search field, then click the data source name.

On the Basic Settings tab of the new connection, enter a connection name or keep the default name.

Enter your Custom Search Id. You must sign into the Google Custom Search engine and create a new engine to obtain this Id.

Enter the API Key. To obtain this you must enable the Custom Search API in the Google API Console.

At the top of the CData Connect Cloud Add Google Search Connection page, click Save & Test.

If the connection test succeeds, a message indicates that your connection has been created.

If the connection test fails, ensure that you entered your login information correctly with no stray spaces or other characters. Then, try again.
