Apache Impala
Follow these steps to connect Apache Impala to your CData Connect Cloud account:

Open the Connections page of the CData Connect Cloud dashboard.

Click + Add Connection in the upper-right corner.

Type Apache Impala into the search field, then click the data source name.

On the Basic Settings tab of the new connection, enter a connection name or keep the default name.

Enter the following information:

Auth Scheme—the authentication scheme to use when connecting. Options are NoSasl and LDAP. Kerberos is not supported.

Server—the host name or IP address of the Apache Impala server

Port—the port for connecting to the Apache Impala server

If you select LDAP as your Auth Scheme, enter the following information:

User—the Apache Impala username for authentication

Password—the user password
-

At the top of the CData Connect Cloud Add Apache Impala Connection page, click Save & Test.

If the connection test succeeds, a message indicates that your connection has been created.

If the connection test fails, ensure that you entered your login information correctly with no stray spaces or other characters. Then, try again.
